Do you love books but don't have anyone to talk to about them?
The Milbertshofen book club is your literary meeting place.
Once a month, we read a book together and talk about it in a trusting, respectful atmosphere.
No superficial short opinions, but in-depth conversations about what moves us, touches us or makes us think while reading.
Your host is Isabella Hernadi, cultural manager & book lover
She is passionate about bringing people together to talk about what really matters. As a cultural manager, she has been curating cultural encounters and creating spaces for in-depth conversations for years. Her vision for the Milbertshofen Book Club: a place where literature sparks conversations, broadens perspectives and creates real community.
Isabella moderates the discussion rounds and ensures a respectful, inspiring atmosphere in which every voice is heard and different readings are allowed to stand side by side on an equal footing. At each book club, a guest presents their favorite book (by arrangement).
It starts on May 21, 2026 with the book "Alt genug" by Ildikó von Kürthy.
From June, the book club will always take place on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 19:30 to 21:00 in room 3.11.
