Mel Maroon & the Swingin' Mallets:
The old master Mel Maroon swings everything that's not 3 on the trees! From "Smells like Teen Spirit" to "Living on a Prayer" - and the swing dancers/the audience will go crazy in style! Like every year, it will be an evening of "time travel included". And Mel's outstanding small big band "The Swingin' Mallets" will bring the domicil hall to the boil! Let there be Swing! We are delighted to welcome the band B-Flat Quartet this year
The B-Flat Quartet is a rousing band dedicated to hot jazz and gypsy swing. Consisting of bass, two guitars and vocals, they bring the tradition of this music to the stage with their passion and virtuosity. Precise bass grooves, the traditional touch of Gypsy Swing and a modern perspective transform this music of the 1930s into a special sound experience for all Gypsy Swing fans and Lindy Hop dancers!"
As always, there will be a LindyHop swing dance taster course via LindyPott before the show. For all those who don't know how to do it yet but want to learn!
And after the JazzBandBall, it's vinyl time as usual with DJ Martini playing the best swing and jazz records: After the JazzBandBall is the middle of the domicil Club! Dance until the (non-existent) closing time!
