Have you ever been to a MitSingDing event? Maybe you used to sing in a choir or are interested in giving it a try?

But a choir is just too much of a commitment—always those weekly rehearsals—no time…

Have you ever seen those videos on Instagram where 250 people stand in a circle and belt out awesome pop songs? Want to experience something like that yourself?

On October 26, Constantin Gold (choir director of the Grüngürtelrosen and Veedelperlen), together with vocal coach Diana Schulz, is offering you the chance to make this experience a reality.

The journey starts here:

Step 1: Buy a ticket

Step 2: Receive the arrangement and “TeachMe” audio files via email (sent 2–3 weeks before the event)

Step 3: If you can, give the arrangement a try at home beforehand. (optional)

Step 4: Come to the Gloria on October 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. and be part of the magic (Doors open at 10:30 a.m. – Event starts at 11:00 a.m.)

No one will be put on the spot unless they want to—no one has to audition.

We’ll start with a warm-up and some light vocal coaching. Then we’ll rehearse the arrangement written especially for this day. Drummer Sebastian Görg and bassist Ina Wolf will set the right mood.

To wrap things up, the arrangement we’ve worked on will be professionally recorded and subsequently released both internally and externally (on social media). This way, all participants will have a memory that lasts forever.

There is no concert in the traditional sense.

We’re both musicians and the audience—so this day is perfect for anyone who gets stage fright.

What will we be singing, anyway?

As a choir medley expert, Constantin Gold is writing an arrangement especially for this day.

The medley will consist of rousing songs. We’ll select songs that get under your skin and stay there for a long time. A little trust is required. We haven’t decided yet which songs will be combined into a medley.

We’re looking forward to experiencing Cologne’s third major 1.Day.Chor with you.

A transparent P.S., especially for everyone who’s been there before: Yes, I’ve raised the price by 5€. With the extra money, I’d like to bring one more person onto the team to help me, especially with the technical setup. Up until now, in addition to conducting the choir, I’ve handled all the technical setup and takedown myself on-site. But that’s physically very demanding on a day like this. 😇 So I want to delegate the setup and takedown, transporting the equipment, and recording, and also pay fair wages for ticket sales and merch. That’s where the extra €5 comes from. I hope you’ll understand.
