In the summer of 2013, the JAPANESE CULTURAL FESTIVAL IN MUNICH opened its doors for the first time with music, workshops, and culinary delights , and has enjoyed an ever-growing fan base ever since.

On July 12, 26, JAPANDULT will take place for the 23rd time, returning once again as the JAPANESE SUMMER FESTIVAL at the Alte Kongresshalle, above the Theresienwiese.

This unique design market, featuring 50 exhibitors, showcases Japanese arts and crafts, literature, stationery, jewelry, fashion, accessories, kimonos, furoshikis, kawaii items, high-quality specialty teas, and unique gifts.

At the bar on the ground floor, visitors can once again enjoy Japanese pastries crafted by the pastry chefs from Café FREUNDlich in Lübeck, as well as homemade summer drinks featuring matcha and yuzu.

JAPANDULT’s cultural program gives the audience the opportunity to embark on a journey through both traditional and modern Japan and to discover the diversity and adaptability of this culture.
