based on the graphic novel by Nando von Arb | world premiere
Adults are role models. But sometimes they are also strange creatures that you don't understand. Nando von Arb tells the story from the perspective of an adolescent child: About separation and parting. And about how terrible and beautiful family can be. Nando is two years old when his biological father separates from his mother. On this day, his mother turns into a dangerous and angry bird of prey who defends the children against everything and everyone. And Nando suddenly has three fathers. His own, Kiko, his sister's father, and soon Zelo, his mother's new boyfriend. Early on, Nando is confronted with drastic changes as a result of the decisions made by the adults around him. With fear and grief - his own, but also that of his mother. At the same time, however, there are also people around him who complement each other in their differences and show the adolescent several possible models of being human. Patricija Katica Bronić, a former member of the ensemble at Junges NTM, was nominated for the "Der Faust" theater prize with her production "Unter Drachen" (8+).
