41. Dauerlauf im Severinsviertel

In the organizer's words:

Since 1985, the endurance run in the Severinsviertel has been as much a part of Cologne's Südstadt district as Chlodwigplatz itself. This year it is taking place for the 41st time - and that is not a matter of course: until recently, the event was on the brink of being canceled.

Now it's going ahead. Start and finish around Chlodwigplatz, route completely through Südstadt.

THE DISTANCES
- 5 km: Start 11:00 am (2 laps)
- 10 km: Start 12:00 (3 laps)

WHAT AWAITS YOU
- Pea soup and free beer (Reissdorf) in the finish area at Severinskirchplatz
- Award ceremony on the stage with prizes from Cologne sponsors
- Functional shirt for the first 500 registrations

Whether ambitious or just for the fun of it: the endurance run thrives on participation. Veedel meets running, and there's soup at the end.
