In the organizer's words:

Dear photo enthusiasts,

I cordially invite you to the 47th photo walk! This time we're going to the northern part of Cologne's old town to explore the exciting architecture and urban corners of the Eigelstein and Agnesviertel districts.

In the last few months we have always had at least 40-100 people meeting up, no matter what the weather was like.

The walk will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, and as always is free of charge. If you like, you are welcome to give me a tip for the organization.

No matter if you have a cell phone, a big camera or just without a camera to talk and have fun: Just be there, meet people and get to know Cologne from a different, very urban side.

People who want to be in front of the camera are also very welcome. Make your presence felt in the Facebook event or, of course, during the photo walk itself.

Starting point: In front of the Eigelsteintorburg (Eigelstein 135, 50668 Cologne). Meeting point: We meet there from 13:00 so that we can really set off at 13:30.

Duration & end: The walk usually lasts 3 hours and ends around 4:30 pm at the restaurant "Vellini Köln" (Eigelstein 143, 50668 Cologne). There we can end the afternoon together with food and drinks.

The theme: Street in winter

This is just a suggestion. Of course you can photograph anything that interests you. It should just inspire you.

Here you can meet nice people, take photos, exchange tips and discover new corners of Cologne or experience special photogenic events.

Anyone who wants to can come! Whether you're just interested, a cell phone photographer, a hobby photographer or an advanced photographer. Even some professionals get lost among us :)
Don't be afraid of not being "ready" for a walk. Everyone will be happy to help you and the exchange of ideas is also one of the aims of the walk.

People who would like to stand in front of a camera are also welcome to come.
Many photographers will be delighted!
Talk to each other spontaneously and let your creativity run free! Please respect each other and don't do any pack shoots, i.e. too many photographers on one model.
