Patricia Falkenburg and Christiane Rath work together at borders and across them: comparable to seamstresses who stitch together texts, images, thoughts and visions to create a patchwork quilt. The seam stands as a symbol for the strengthening of relationships, but also for the overcoming of ruggedness and separation. This creates a new closeness that begins to shine in the process of joint exploration.
