But with the Manchester band A Certain Ratio, you can use it without hesitation. After all, the band, founded in 1977 (!), released on the two British uber-indie labels Factory (the home of Joy Division) and Mute (where Depeche Mode's global career began) and performed at the equally (rightly) legendary Hacienda Club.
