A – Z. Mapping the Future ll. Die ABK Stuttgart zu Gast in der Staatsgalerie

In the organizer's words:

Just at the academy - now already in the museum: for the second time, this year's graduation works are on display in the exhibition entitled "A - Z. Mapping the Future", this year's final works by graduates of the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design (ABK Stuttgart) can be seen for the second time. The idea for this exhibition series arose from the academy's desire to give young artists a visible stage in the city and at the same time enable a close connection between the museum and the art academy.

"A - Z" is to be understood programmatically: The works are hung alphabetically according to the names of the participating artists - a neutral classification system that deliberately emphasizes artistic diversity.

The exhibition shows how differently and self-confidently this generation of young artists expresses itself. "Mapping the Future" brings diversity into the museum - and makes it clear that the future has long since begun for many of the participating artists.

On display are works from the Diploma in Fine Arts, Master of Education Artistic Teaching with Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts Body, Theory and Poetics of the Performative.
