Abdul Kader Chahin: EHRENLOS

In the organizer's words:

"ACHTE JETZT!" is Abdul Kader Chahin's first full-length solo show and it packs a punch: it features real talk from Duisburg Marxloh and the silliness of a thirty-year-old who still believes in dinosaurs. Chahin lights fires like no other: his community celebrates him on Instagram for his provocative comedy videos. That is, of course, unless he is reported by a horde of Nazis again. One thing is clear: Chahin tells stories from the Plattenbau. And what sounds funny to the audience suddenly turns serious, which is probably Abdi's strength: you never know whether the next sentence will make you laugh out of joy or despair.

He is joined by friend and comedy colleague Malte Küppers. Küppers, who also comes from Duisburg, brings the best stories from his life as a social worker in the focal point to the stage. So if you want to learn something about the state of this society, you don't have to go to a lecture, you can simply buy a ticket for "ACHTE JETZT!". It's also a lot funnier.

Abdul Kader Chahin always has a political side-swipe at the ready, despite his maximally crude comedy, which always gives his stand-up bits a satirical touch. The NRW Poetryslam runner-up from 2021 has only not yet been canceled because he has such cute dimples. He diversifies, entertains and loves to annoy his audience. Chahin loves the Plattenbau in Duisburg so much that he brings it thematically onto the stage. His comparisons, which are mostly poorly metaphorized, usually range between soccer, cars and Otto von Bismarck, but none of that matters, because Apache stays the same!
