To round off our festival, we are once again showing Fox and Hare Save the Forest! Based on the picture books by Sylvia Vanden Heede, the new film by Mascha Halberstad tells a funny story about big egos, loneliness and friendship in a lovingly crafted look.

In a large forest clearing, an ambitious beaver builds his gigantic castle with the help of two mischievous rats. They dam up the river, creating a huge lake that floods the surrounding forest. The fox and rabbit are faced with the challenge of finding the cause of the flooding. Not only do they have to save their forest, they also have to find their missing friend Owl.
