The Junge Waldorf Philharmonie is a youth orchestra project organized on a volunteer basis by young people. For the past 22 years, the orchestra has gone on an annual concert tour.
Young musicians come together in the Junge Waldorf Philharmonie—a unique project based on volunteer work, initiative, and a genuine passion for music. The orchestra impresses with its exceptionally high musical standard and strong sense of community. In Hamburg, Cologne, and Stuttgart, the Junge Waldorf Philharmonie invites audiences to powerful, moving symphony concerts, full of energy, precision, and a palpable sense of community.
The program features:
- Richard Wagner: Overture to the opera “Tannhäuser”
- Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor
- Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 6 “Pathétique” in B minor
