Abschlussveranstaltung Black History Month: Lesung und Konzert "Black Morocco"

Celebrate the end of Black History Month 2026 with us! You can expect a varied evening of conversation, music and culture. The focus will be on an exciting exchange with the author Chouki El Hamel, whose book "Black Morocco" sheds light on Black history, identity and resistance in Morocco. The evening will be accompanied by traditional Gnawa music. The event is organized by the Initiative of Black People in Germany e. V. Local Group Cologne, the Africa Film Festival Cologne, Poli Social, MyAfroCity, the Theodor Wonja Michael Library and the Sonnenblumen Community Development Group e. V. in cooperation with us and NRWeltoffen.
