HoHoHo! For the first time, the Hanging Gardens of Ehrenfeld, in cooperation with Nolte Bier and with the support of the Catholic parish of Cologne-Ehrenfeld, invite you to a Christmas event at the beautiful Geisselmarkt directly on Körnerstraße. Under the motto "Advent at Geisselmarkt", we will be celebrating the Christmas season from December 3 to 19 with plenty of mulled wine, winter bock, mulled apples, cheese spaetzle, kale, hand bread, waffles and a few surprises.
This year's occasion is the double anniversary of the St. Mariä Himmelfahrt market chapel (built in 1863 by Johan Wahlen, co-founder of the Ehrenfeld district) and the inauguration of the St. Joseph church opposite (first service at Christmas 1873).
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!
