„AEQUORA“ Quartett – contemporary jazz soundscapes im live "o-ton"

AEQUORA

is the new chamber music jazz quartet led by composer and pianist Brigitte Angerhausen.

"In an organic field of tension between clearly composed structure and free improvisation, the ensemble unfolds an independent sound cosmos - characterized by lyrical jazz as well as classical music, rhythms beyond the four-four time signature, polyphony, free sound surfaces and spontaneous dialogues.

Aequora's music is flowing and powerful at the same time, varying between cinematic moods from tense to extremely gentle and tender to wide soundscapes. It traces the resonances of current world events as well as the currents of nature, searching for moments in which sound becomes a form of interpersonal communication."
