AFTER WORK MIT G.RAG & DIE LANDLERGSCHWISTER
In the organizer's words:
As the sun sets over the Südwiese at the Alte Pinakothek and the music plays, a special summer evening begins: On Wednesday, July 22, we invite you to an after-work event that combines art, music, and a relaxed summer atmosphere! Just for you, we’re opening the Alte Pinakothek’s South Portal and transforming the museum and the Südwiese into one big, summery experience.
Together with G.Rag & die Landlergschwister, you can experience summer vibes both inside and outside the Alte Pinakothek. The band brings its very own sound: a bit Bavarian, a bit big-city, lots of groove—but above all, anything but ordinary.
Our guides look forward to leading tours through the special exhibition “How Pictures Tell Stories” and answering questions about the artworks. The Chefbox food truck will be serving up authentic Flemish fries. The team from Café Münchner Freiheit will provide cool drinks and ice cream.
Music starts at 7:00 p.m. both indoors and outdoors; the special exhibition “How Pictures Tell Stories” is open until 9:00 p.m., and the music continues until 10:00 p.m. And as always: the first drink is included in the ticket price.
