Every Wednesday evening, 6:30–9:00 p.m., our life drawing class “
” takes place at the Heartspace art studio for both beginners and experienced artists.
Figure composition, anatomy, composition, and lighting:
In a small group of up to 10 participants, you’ll receive individual guidance from an experienced
graphic designer and drawing instructor—or you can draw undisturbed from weekly
changing models for your own enjoyment.
We’ll provide the paper. Just bring your favorite drawing supplies, curiosity, and a love of
drawing!

About the instructor:
Thorsten will help you observe and bring your ideas to life. He has been working for more than ten
years at the SbKG Berlin as a teacher of drawing, figure drawing, and painting, and can draw on a wealth of
experience working with adult and teenage students.
About the Heartspace Art Studio:
The Heartspace Art Studio is a place to connect with others through art—
whether you’re just discovering your love for art or have been connected to it for a long time.
In addition to the weekly life drawing class, there are also other painting and drawing classes,
as well as a variety of workshops and exhibitions. As a community studio, it offers centrally
located and affordable studio spaces for artists. The Heartspace Art Studio was opened in
May 2025 by freelance artist and art educator Alice Bischof.

Focusing on figure, anatomy, composition, and lighting:
In a small group of no more than ten participants, you’ll receive individual guidance from an experienced graphic artist and drawing instructor—or, if you prefer, you can work independently and undisturbed, drawing from a different model each week.
We provide the paper; simply bring your preferred drawing materials, your curiosity, and a love for drawing!
