All You Can Sing: From Westerland to Wonderwall, let it be to Kölsche Jung. Nico Mono sings the songs we know and love with you at his sing-along parties, including on Saturday, April 25, at Gaffel am Dom. The popular pub is not only known for its good Kölsch beer, but also for its atmospheric cultural events with artists such as Björn Heuser.
"For me, music is a bridge to meet people and a playground where I can let off steam. The best moment is when everyone sings - the music creates unity."
Nico has his acoustic guitar in his luggage, sometimes also a looper, with which he conjures up exciting rhythms à la Ed Sheeran, with a stomp box providing the beat here and there. The audience is cordially invited to replace the obviously missing cover band with their instruments and turn the evening into a sing-along party in stereo: the audience hums along to the lead guitar on "Angels" or the keyboard on "Ein Kompliment". The songs range from the best oldies and 90s hits to modern classics. And at the end of "Guten Morgen Barbarossaplatz", "maybeee" just want to say: "Hit me baby one more time", because "Damn, I love you".
Some people already know the Rhinelander from performances of his own songs, such as "Amsterdam". With his nationally successful summer hit "Amsterdam" in 2015, the singer shared his urge to escape from everyday life with his listeners.
Free admission, the concert lasts two hours.
