Allee der Klänge – Das Musikfestival im Augustekiez

Chanson swing in the monastery garden, musical satire in front of perennials, tarantella under treetops, bluenotes in a sea of flowers, bossa nova on the meadow, afrobeats next to the football pitch, poetic songs between raised beds, Ecuadorian rhythms under balconies and swing on the parquet floor - the "Allee der Klaenge" music festival brings the Augustekiez back to life with thirteen concerts! Most of them will take place in the open air.

On Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, 2026, thirteen bands, soloists and ensembles will play in courtyards, gardens, meadows and green spaces as well as indoors in Reinickendorf's Augustekiez district at the eighth edition of the festival. The audience is cordially invited to stroll from concert to concert and embark on a very special sound trail through the neighborhood. Free admission!

To open the festival on Friday, June 12 at 3 pm, Monsieur Pompadour will be playing chanson swing in the idyllic monastery garden after a family concert by Richards Musikhof (2 pm). In an inner courtyard just around the corner, the satirical duo Plückhahn & Vogel will be performing virus-free songs. New interpretations of songs by the Sephardic Jews of Davagariko await the audience in the garden of the Mehrgenerationenhaus Reinickendorf, before SubMcLad takes you into the wonderful world of Irish folk in the NochMall café. In front of the Segenskirche, I Pizzicati invite you to dance with southern Italian tarantella and to round off the first day of the festival, the Leipzig band Komplizen will be playing creaky garage pop full of blues notes in the Lesegarten.

On Saturday, June 13 at 3 pm, Trio Scho will take the audience in front of the Wohn!Aktiv-Haus on a musical journey from the Arctic Ocean via Berlin to Paris and through the ages. In the Klixarena, the band Afrikadelle will then sing West African dance music with Afrobeats and other influences. Melancholic German pop by songwriter Jana Berwig can be heard in the library's reading garden, traditional music from Ecuador with modern influences by the five-piece band IntiYaku in an inner courtyard and soulful songs by young female musicians from the neighborhood in the Manege. At the end of the festival, Boxibarré will lure all dance enthusiasts to the dance floor of the Gerda Keller dance school with 20s jazz and 80s punk.
