MusiKiste is an offshoot of Papercup Records, on which the Cologne art and indie pop bands Alpentines, Albert Luxus and Bitte Bitte have recently released new music. Together, the three acts now invite you to a live party.

ALPENTINES
Cologne-based band Alpentines have been combining art pop with an openness to atmospheric adventure for three albums and several other releases. Rooted in the indie music of the noughties, the collective develops a sound that ignores genre boundaries and captures emotions in sweeping arcs of tension. https://alpentines.de/

ALBERT LUXUS
Albert Luxus have been releasing music since 2008. Their discography includes four albums and two EPs - characterized by an idiosyncratic mix of indie, pop and folk rock, often with a touch of nostalgic 50s flair. Casual, light guitars meet cool, scratchy analog synths and merge with intricate lyrics that remain open to individual interpretations. After their last album YinYin (2021), Albert Luxus are back with their new EP "Nieso". The songs were recorded live as a trio (guitar, bass, drums) and tell of a world in an inner and outer state of emergency. https://albertluxus.de/

Under the name BITTE BITTE, veteran Cologne musicians Benjamin Garcia (drums), Oliver Minck (vocals, bass) and Roland Münchow (guitar) have joined forces to play imaginatively reduced indie pop with wave and post-rock influences in a classic trio line-up.
