Bach moves
The world-famous choreographer Sasha Waltz meets the Russian cellist Anastasia Kobekina in an intimate duet that brings Johann Sebastian Bach's cello suites to life in a completely new way. Every note becomes visible, every chord perceptible, every movement an expression of the music - from the flowing preludes to the elegant sarabandes and the complex fugues. With a playful approach to tempo, phrasing and dynamics, the two artists combine the rigor of the Baroque with the liveliness of contemporary choreography.
