ANDREAS GABALIER is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his legendary MTV Unplugged performance with very personal, intimate concerts in the most beautiful concert halls in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The one-of-a-kind folk-rock ’n’ roller, who usually thrills thousands upon thousands of fans in large arenas and stadiums, has deliberately chosen a smaller setting for this fall 2026 tour, where the audience is within arm’s reach and can experience his music more intimately.
A special concept was developed for this acoustic project featuring live music, with ANDREAS GABALIER and his band naturally taking center stage. These outstanding musicians provide the powerful yet finely tuned foundation for his unmistakable folk rock ’n’ roll. In addition, a ten-piece string ensemble lends the arrangements depth, dynamism, and sonic breadth. The goal is to create an atmosphere that combines energy and intimacy in equal measure through the combination of acoustic instrumentation, a large ensemble, and new arrangements. On March 13, an unplugged version of his song “Vergiss Mein Nicht” will be released. The very next day, Andreas will perform this song on the Giovanni Zarrella Show.
