The Angels Of Libra are a 10-piece soul formation from Hamburg with a high affinity for analog recording techniques, 60s soul revue concepts and film music. The band's story begins in a Danish vacation home where Hamburg musicians Dennis Rux (producer/guitar), Chris Härtel (keyboard), David Nesselhauf (bass) and Lucas Kochbeck (drums) retreated for two weeks and recorded instrumental songs on an 8-track tape recorder from 1980.

After an extensive tour with Nathan Johnston (aka Sion Hill) they now release their latest album "Maiiah & The Angels of Libra" (VÖ 20.10.23), which focuses on the Hamburg soul singer Maiiah. On 30.03. they will play one of their big soul shows at the Knust in Hamburg, where you can hear some of the well-known songs with Nathan Johnston, as well as some of their new album.

The Hamburg Soul Collective are "proof of the vibrancy of soul and work tirelessly for their dream of modern soul music."
