Because Kokoro is constantly bullied at school, she hardly ever leaves her room. But then one day a portal appears in her mirror, leading her to a magical castle on a desert island. There she meets six other teenagers who are also having a hard time in their lives. The mistress of the castle - a mysterious, masked girl called the "Wolf Queen" - offers the group a game: The person who finds the secret room will be granted a wish - any wish. In the search for the room, the students become increasingly close and share their emotional destinies. But whose wish will be granted in the end?

LONELY CASTLE IN THE MIRROR is a dreamlike adventure about friendship, pain and the strength that lies within each and every one of us. The film adaptation of Mizuki Tsujimura's bestseller of the same name takes the audience on a fantastic journey to a fabulously beautiful place, impressively realized by director Keiichi Hara (MISS HOUSAKI, WONDERLAND).
