Ankunft und Aufbruch: 850 Jahre Braunschweiger Vielfalt
In the organizer's words:
A Walk with Andreas Schwarz
Discover how Braunschweig was shaped by arrivals and departures: Flemish settlers, English princesses, French religious refugees—and the remarkable career of the first Black professor at a German university. Hear the stories of Braunschweig residents who left their hometown to seek their fortune elsewhere. A walking tour that brings history to life and lets you experience the diversity of an 850-year-old past.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the museum ticket office or directly at the meeting point. Only cash payments are accepted on site.
If the minimum number of 7 participants has not been reached one week before the event, the Castle Museum reserves the right to cancel it.
Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
Meeting point: Braunschweig Castle Museum, Schlossplatz 1, 38100 Braunschweig
