Anna Prohaska always conquers and beguiles with the extraordinary. Now, together with Emanuele Soavi's award-winning Cologne Dance Company and the original sound ensemble lautten compagney BERLIN, the soprano creates a fabulous performance.

Taking Claudio Monteverdi's expressive "Lamento della ninfa" as a starting point, Anna Prohaska and her artistic partners create a universe of femininity with vocal music from the early Baroque (featuring: the great Renaissance composer Barbara Strozzi!) to the present day. With song and dance they tell of the emotional storms of a lover, torn between revolutionary power and emotional extremes, between archaic myth and oppressive present.
