The film commemorates the Hamburg resistance group "Helmuth Hübener". During the Nazi era, they listened to foreign radio stations and distributed self-written leaflets in various Hamburg districts denouncing the injustices of Nazi rule. The young people's activities came to light through betrayal at work.
At the same time, the film shows the diverse commitment of young people and adults to dealing with this history. The cinematic legacy is therefore also a current contribution to an active culture of remembrance and commemoration. (D 2021, 90 min.)
