Antikriegsfestival Dortmund
In the organizer's words:
Anti-War Day isn’t just another day to check off the list. It’s an invitation to take a stand.
That’s why we’re gathering on September 1, 2026—with music, with voices, with questions, and with dissent.
Through “Friendly Fire,” we’ll challenge political representatives with critical questions—about war, peace, and responsibility. Students from the Anne Frank Comprehensive School will serve as the voice of the younger generation through their speeches. A choral recitation gives a united voice to the longing for peace and solidarity. At the booths of the participating initiatives and organizations, there’s space for exchange, connection, and networking.
AND: With DJ Ipek, the festival gains an international soundtrack that blends club culture with political stance.
A festival against war. A festival for life.
Come on by. Bring your friends.
Co-organized by DGB-Jugend Dortmund Hellweg, Jugendring Dortmund, SDJ Die Falken UB Dortmund, SLADO, VMDO, and the Friends of the Steinwache Memorial / International Rombergpark Committee
