Between Cranes and Creativity – Invitation to the 2026 Harbor Walk

The last Saturday in August belongs to the harbor: On August 29, 2026, the Harbor District invites you to the 14th edition of the Harbor Walk. For one day, the spotlight will be on the people, ideas, and projects that shape the district and bring it to life as a hub for culture, community, business, and technology.

A diverse cultural and informational program attracts young and old alike to the Harbor District for exciting insights, hands-on activities, and the chance to dance, celebrate, and enjoy the atmosphere together. The Nordstadt Neighborhood Management is delighted that everyone is already marking this program highlight on their calendars and planning their route through the Hafenquartier using the web app at hafenspaziergang.echt-nordstadt.de. Thanks to the support of DSW21, there will be a free shuttle bus running on a circular route every 15 minutes, stopping at ten locations. The Harbor Walk is also ideal for exploring by bike.

The event is coordinated by the Nordstadt Neighborhood Management and funded by the City of Dortmund’s “Gut für Dortmund” program in cooperation with the “Sparkasse für Dortmund Foundation.” Additional supporters include DSW21 and Dortmunder Hafen AG.
