Antje Weithaas is one of the world's most renowned violinists and violin teachers and enjoys a reputation as an interpreter of captivating musical intelligence, not least among her peers and many of her students, who are also internationally successful today. Together with her long-time piano partner Dénes Várjon, she has recently begun a complete recording of Ludwig van Beethoven's violin sonatas. In the Pierre Boulez Hall, the duo will interpret the sonatas opp. 23 and 47 together with works by Robert and Clara Schumann and contemporary pieces by György Kurtág.
