Museum Sunday Berlin is a good opportunity to take a closer look at the architecture of the House of World Cultures (HKW). What materials were used in its construction? How can such a curved roof be constructed - and why did it partially collapse in 1980? Emilienne Fernande Bodo, curatorial assistant for architectural and spatial practices at HKW, takes all interested parties on a tour through the history of the building and the politically charged context behind it.
