In the organizer's words:
130 young percussionists from all over the world applied to take part in the renowned ARD International Music Competition. After a video pre-selection, 25 of them were invited to Munich. From September 4 to 6, the candidates will play in front of a 7-member jury of prominent musicians and hope to advance to the second round.
