Are We There Yet? Tour

Rick Astley comes to Cologne for an exclusive concert at the Palladium.

The only concert in Germany - with him he has his new album "Are We There Yet?", which will be released on 06.10.23.

It is now 36 years since he first became famous and yet Rick Astley is today possibly an even more prominent figure in pop culture than ever before.

The likeable young-at-heart 57-year-old continues to gain new fans, whether it's while on stage with the Foo Fighters, Take That or Blossoms, becoming an unexpected social media phenomenon, or simply enjoying the endless love bestowed upon his seminal hit "Never Gonna Give You Up," which was given a boost by its use in an extremely moving scene in "Ted Lasso."

In fact, since his return to the top of the charts in 2016, Rick has enjoyed the most successful chart performance of his entire career to date with "50."

It's been a journey for life, but the road ahead remains open for further exploration - the next stop being the release of his long-awaited ninth studio album "Are We There Yet?" on October 06.

"Are We There Yet?" is the sound of Rick looking back and building on his experiences since the release of "Beautiful Life" in 2018. Some of the new songs were written during the 2020 lockdown, but he made a conscious decision to leave them unfinished until it was possible to play them live again. A simple, plain piano ballad "Blue Sky" speaks of the natural serenity that came from the lockdown.
