Arolsen Archives: everynamecounts – Jeder Name zählt

"everynamecounts" is a crowdsourcing initiative of the Arolsen Archives. With the help of tens of thousands of volunteers worldwide, a digital memorial to those persecuted by National Socialism has been erected. In this way, future generations will also remember the names and identities of the victims. With "everynamecounts", anyone can set an example for respect, diversity and democracy. Because the reasons for persecution are not history.

Thanks to "everynamecounts", the world's largest online archive of victims of Nazi persecution is currently being created. Tens of thousands of volunteers are already taking part in the crowdsourcing initiative and helping to digitally record the names and dates of millions of historical documents. Over 6 million documents have been processed since the initiative began. However, there are a total of 30 million historical documents in the Arolsen Archives - so many more helpers are needed to complete the digital monument.

All public areas of the Schwankhalle are at ground level and accessible without steps.

There are three different toilets: a barrier-free toilet that can also be used by wheelchair users, a toilet with 3 toilet cubicles and a toilet with urinals and a toilet cubicle.
