Artist Talk mit Lucia Tallová

To mark the exhibition*Moving Clouds*, the PalaisPopulaire invites you to an artist talk with Slovak artist Lucia Tallová, who was named “Artist of the Year” for 2026 by Deutsche Bank.

During the talk, Tallová will offer insights into her artistic practice, which spans painting, collage, and installation. Using photographs from old books and magazines, combined with found objects, natural materials, and other items, she creates multi-layered visual worlds that explore memory, loss, and utopia, as well as issues of ecology, modernity, and repressed female narratives.

The artist will speak with Britta Färber, Global Head of Art and Culture at Deutsche Bank and curator of the exhibition, about the creation of the works, the exhibition’s themes, and Tallová’s artistic perspectives.
