In the organizer's words:
AS DECEMBER FALLS celebrated their breakthrough in 2021 with "Happier" - a debut that shook up the British pop-punk scene and laid the foundations for their meteoric rise. Driven by unwavering independence and a close connection with their fans, the band went one better in 2023 with the chart success "Join The Club": #1 in the official UK rock and metal, independent and download charts - and only just missing the top 10 of the official UK album charts with a strong #11.
Now AS DECEMBER FALLS return with "Everything's On Fire But I'm Fine" - a bold, relentlessly honest album that captures the beautiful chaos of chasing a dream when everything around you seems to be falling apart. Between day jobs and a relentless touring schedule, they process their exhaustion, fear, gratitude and determination in 14 songs - more intense than ever, emotionally and sonically.
From the seething title track, which describes the pressure and privilege of their in-between position in the industry, to the radical vulnerability of songs like "Grim Reaper" and "Angry Cry" - this album doesn't shy away from chaos. It looks it straight in the face, laughs, cries and dances through it.
Whether inspired by late-night Twitch gaming sessions(Ready Set Go), broken hearts and red flags(Bathroom Floor) or chaotic revenge plots between best friends(For The Plot), AS DECEMBER FALLS continue to write with a raw, unfiltered honesty that speaks to anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, underappreciated or just not okay.
AS DECEMBER FALLS aren't here to play it safe - they're here to burn it all down and let something real emerge from the ashes. And if the last few years are any indication, that fire isn't going out anytime soon.
