Listening Session: Ashley Kahn

Ashley Kahn is a music historian, author, and producer who teaches at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music. He has written award-winning books on seminal works and figures in music history, including Miles Davis’s *Kind of Blue* and John Coltrane’s *A Love Supreme*. In addition to his work as an editor and journalist (for Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and others), he produces documentary films.
