In the organizer's words:

How did life on earth originate? Theories speak of the primordial ocean, in which the original building blocks of life could have been created by volcanoes. But comets could also have been the source of life on Earth, because they may have brought organic material here from the vastness of space. Was the formation of the original building blocks of life a random process or could it easily have been repeated again and again in space? This lecture is dedicated to the beginnings of life and how it could have originated here and elsewhere. (An event for the whole family, including children aged 10 and over).
