[hanse]Pfeyfferey
Lilli Pätzold - Zinc
Laura Dümpelmann - pommer, arrangements
Alexandra Mikheeva - slide trumpet, trombone
Andreas Gilger - moderator
The Bremen ensemble [hanse]Pfeyfferey revives the old tradition of the town pipers in a trio formation. Historical music can be heard on towers, squares and winding alleyways, played on open-air wind instruments such as the pommer and slide trumpet. During a guided walk through Cologne's city center, musical contributions by the [hanse]Pfeyfferey are combined with informative excursions by presenter and musician Andreas Gilger. The starting point is the Kolumba Museum; the route leads through further stations to the Basilica of St. Aposteln. Along the way, participants can expect a special mixture of sound and narrative perspectives: a journey through music, history and city life.
Walking concert accessible with hearing aid / CI via an inductive hearing system.
