Abram Mittelmann opened his photo studio between today's cafés, the university library and the LVZ editorial office in 1909. Even 100 years ago, the small urban space in the southern center of Leipzig was an attractive business district. Walk-in customers, neighbors and wedding couples had their portraits taken by Mittelmann - even avowed National Socialists stood proudly in front of his camera. The tour provides insights into the history of the district and tells of how the photos have been passed down to the present day. Explore these places together with the historian Achim Beier (AG STOLPERSTEINE).
