We all know the fairy tale of the wicked stepmother, at least since Snow White. A poisoned apple is supposed to be the solution to getting rid of the unloved stepchild.

But the reality is of course very different. Bonus father, bonus mother, bonus child.

What does that actually mean? Where does responsibility end and self-protection begin? How do you find your place in a new family without losing yourself? And what do we do with the feelings for which there isn't even a good word?

Katharina Grünewald, psychologist and expert for patchwork families, knows these questions well and is a guest at Juwel for Auf ein Wort. In addition, we welcome our guest host Cosima, herself part of a patchwork family for many years, who will guide us through this evening.
