For 111 years, Aurora flour was milled in the Ellmühle mill in Cologne-Deutz, which advertised with the well-known slogan "Aurora with the sun star". The mill was closed in 2021 and the site has been deserted ever since.

The 25-work photo series AURORA by Cologne-based artist Anja Schlamann shows people at their former workplace in the Ellmühle. It documents the current architectural state. In the background of the protagonists, a shadowy cloud of thrown flour can be seen. It has the effect of a curtain, which releases the people portrayed and thus removes them from their location.
