In the organizer's words:
Time and again, an impressive natural spectacle takes place at high latitudes: greenish-red lights dance across the night sky. Join us on a journey to the far north to experience Arctic landscapes, the northern starry sky, and, of course, the aurora. Learn how the Northern Lights are formed, how they can be observed, and what significance they hold for the indigenous peoples of the far north.
Finally, we’ll marvel together at stunning time-lapse videos of the Northern Lights—courtesy of scientists and citizen scientists from Canada and Alaska—footage captured with the AurorEye camera by Donna Lach, Vincent Ledvina, and Jeremy Kuzub.
