The MINSKBAR is back and will take place on four dates between May and August 2026.

DAS MINSK and Cafébar Hedwig will be open for longer and invite you to summer evenings with art, music, drinks and snacks. Exciting live acts and DJ sets will be presented, there will be the opportunity to visit the exhibition for an extended period and to talk to mediators - as well as to linger together on the MINSK terraces.

This year's MINSKBAR music program is curated by Mark Reeder, one of the central figures in Berlin's music history.

The Allegorist

Hailing from the depths of the underground music scene, The Allegorist is a visionary, enigmatic, transmedia and boundary-pushing artist known for creating profound, immersive and darkly complex sonic narratives. The Allegorist defies pigeonholing as she draws on a multitude of influences, weaving together mystery, art, philosophy, symbolism and spirituality. Inspired by her childhood dream of becoming an archaeologist, she embarks on an endless search for the mysteries and meanings of the world. Her innate, lifelong passion for critical thinking, creation and discovery laid the foundation for her unique approach that resonates with those who seek the unconventional.

With a focus on dark art and speculative fiction, including science fiction and fantasy, The Allegorist creates experimental, cinematic, electronic music, visual art and metaphorical narratives. Addressing the dualism of light and darkness, past and future, life and death, the art project takes a holistic approach and strives to reach into the unknown, preserving the secret wisdom and timeless teachings while honoring the earth's ancient values, human responsibility and the cycle of life. To create an inclusive expression, she developed her own fictional language, Mondoneoh, using symbolism as a means of universal communication - in keeping with her chosen name, The Allegorist, which is derived from the literary concept of allegory.

With a background of over ten years as a painter before venturing into the field of music, Hungarian-born, Berlin-based artist Anna Jordan is her own creative director, producer, sound designer, vocalist, sound engineer, visual artist and live performer for her art project "The Allegorist". Valuing the importance of artistic autonomy, she works independently and releases her work predominantly through her own label Awaken Chronicles. At the same time, she cultivates a diverse collective spirit with like-minded people from all fields and industries.
