Joy, sadness, disgust, fear, surprise, and anger are part of everyone’s daily life. But what exactly are emotions? The interactive exhibition“Big Emotions”encourages us to explore ourselves and our feelings—while the exhibition is primarily enjoyed by children and families during the day, this evening is reserved for adults. 
As part of “Nice to meet you!”, we’ll dive right into the exhibition. After an introduction by Doreen Hartmann (Head of the Exhibitions Department) and a brief get-to-know-you session to kick things off, we’ll explore the exhibition’s diverse activities and surprises together. Kneading, shaking, playing, thinking: By the end, we’ll probably know ourselves and each other a little better. 

As always, the meeting point is HY! in the former museum shop, right next to the museum ticket office. 

 

About the series: Nice to meet you! Making new friends at the museum

Would you like to go to the museum, a game night, or the theater, but don’t have anyone to go with? Or do you just want to meet new people? Then you’ve come to the right place: We invite you to join us for shared experiences at the museum.

Each event begins with a guided icebreaker led by us: Using simple prompts, we’ll help you strike up conversations easily and make sure that as many of you as possible feel welcome and at ease right away.

Each event has its own theme: We’ll play games together, explore the exhibition, experience Museum Night, get creative, or take a look behind the scenes. The focus is on shared experiences and making new friends. Every event is a chance to meet people you might otherwise never encounter. Just to be clear: This event series is not speed dating and it’s not a matchmaking event!
