Ausstellungseröffnung „Bilderechos aus Peru“
In the organizer's words:
Opening "Resonating Images from Peru"
Intimate portraits, documentary photos and music recordings by the amateur explorer Hans Heinrich Brüning (1848 - 1928) still resonate strongly in Peru today. The collaborative exhibition shows how local actors reinterpret his recordings - artistically, musically and in digital space - and thus transform colonial documents into living archives of cultural self-determination.
