At 7:30pm there will be a re-performance and extension of Christina Kubisch's performance series "Emergency Solos" with Francesco Marzano.

The Ludwig Forum Aachen is pleased to present "The Emergence of Sound", an exhibition by sound artist and composer Christina Kubisch (*1948 in Bremen, lives and works in Berlin), which brings together selected works from five decades (1975-2026) to create an active experiential space. Kubisch's internationally presented work synthesizes visual art and music and runs along the border areas of composition, installation, performance and drawing through to intermedia video situations and electronic music. Using his own technical research and the means of electromagnetic induction, Kubisch develops new sound spaces that integrate the audience into the artwork through active participation.
