Rechtsterrorismus. Verschwörung und Selbstermächtigung – 1945 bis heute

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition Rechtsterrorismus. Conspiracy and self-empowerment - 1945 to today
The exhibition deals with a topic that is unfortunately permanently topical: right-wing terrorism is a threat in Germany and worldwide. Right-wing terrorist violence is directed against individuals and population groups and thus ultimately against society as a whole. Using selected examples, the exhibition shows that right-wing terrorism is not just a temporary and local phenomenon of the present, but a persistent threat in German and international history.
After welcoming speeches by Mayor Dominik Krause and Charlotte Knobloch (President of the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria), Steffen Liebscher (Curator of the Memorium Nuremberg Trials) will give an insight into the exhibition. Robert Höckmayr (survivor of the Oktoberfest attack on September 26, 1980), Mandy Boulgarides (daughter of Theodoros Boulgarides, victim of the NSU murder attack on June 15, 2005) and Sibel Leyla (mother of Can Leyla, victim of the attack at the Olympia shopping center on July 22, 2016) will speak on behalf of those affected by right-wing terrorist violence.
The exhibition was curated and realized by the Memorium Nuremberg Trials and supported by the GLS-Treuhand Foundation, the Free State of
Bavaria with budget funds from the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs and the Amadeu Antonio Foundation.
