To mark the 15th anniversary of the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie, three young chamber music ensembles will accompany the orchestra for the first time.
With the jnkammer_residenz, the young North German Philharmonic’s educational portfolio is being expanded in a significant way, giving young musicians the opportunity to explore, develop their skills, and establish themselves in the broad field of chamber music. Over the course of a year, three ensembles will be supported with opportunities for lessons, rehearsals, and performances.
Three female musicians, a long-standing friendship, and a shared musical vision: Since its founding in 2021, the AYLA Trio has delighted audiences with thoughtfully conceived concert programs that combine well-known masterpieces of the piano trio repertoire with rarely performed discoveries. A special focus is placed on works by significant female composers from the 19th century to the present.
Violinist Johanna Melchiori, cellist Friederike Schubert, and pianist Ulrike Krämer have known each other since their youth and share an extraordinary musical rapport. This is reflected in their subtle interplay and their great sonic expressiveness.
In addition to an active concert schedule throughout Germany, the trio is passionately committed to music education and develops formats that bring classical music to life for a broad audience.
Fresh, curious, and with a palpable joy in making music together, the AYLA Trio ranks among the most exciting young chamber music ensembles of its generation.
